Gut Instinct

Research continues to turn up remarkable links between the microbiome and the brain. Scientists are finding evidence that microbiome may play a role not just in Alzheimer’s disease, but Parkinson’s disease, depression, schizophrenia, autism and other conditions.

I am interested in this area of research for two reasons: First, I am a disruptive innovator and I believe this is a valid idea worth learning more about. Second, I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis and would personally love a product that could help me maintain my health, or at least monitor some aspects of it such as microbiome levels or other markers.

I can’t give you a detailed explanation for this field of study, but I thought I would at least share a few links and items I am researching in my free time.
