Insights from Winnie the Pooh

Where do your priorities lie?

I am very fortunate to have spent the past few days vacationing with my family.  I love vacations as they allow us to spend more time together and to put aside the hustle and bustle that is “normal life”. However, I still nearly messed up…

My beautiful daughter wanted to go see the movie Christoper Robin. Mom and grandma were all in, and I was on the fence. I usually would have declined and not even thought twice about what I had given up, but this time was different. For my daughter this wasn’t just seeing a movie, but rather it was a chance to all do something together, something she wanted to do. The movie packs a surprising message, one that quickly caught my attention, and confirmed that watching this movie with my family was right where I needed to be…

I won’t ruin the movie for you. If you have the opportunity its worth the time to watch, especially if you can watch it with someone you love. I highly recommend it for those of us who are too busy to watch movies…

Do you have a son or daughter that is seeking your attention? If so I hope you can be with them. They are truly gifts, and ones that shine when we give them attention and cherish them.

Wish you and your family the best,

Douglas Diemel
